If your catalytic converter is clogged, it can cause sufficient back pressure to make your engine lose power; because the cylinders can't move the exhaust out. I've had this problem on a different vehicle. To check if this is the problem you remove the O2 sensor and drive around to see if you notice better performance. It should be back to normal power, and it will sound like a hot-rod. Get a new catalytic converter.
