Anti theft alarm

When we lock the car the alarm will go off
without reason intermittently

Yes brand new batteries in both of them. Sometimes the Fobs work and sometimes they don't.

This is an ongoing problem with alot of Troopers and seems to be a wiring short. Mine still does it and the fob only sometimes works. And I have yet to solve the issue, find the short or find any online resolution that has worked. There is a procedure for re-acquainting the fob to the alarm, and sometimes this gives me a few months peace.
