Key fob

Asked by GuruD1TV6 Sep 01, 2017 at 02:56 PM about the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T SE AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My key fob/proximity key fell off, I think it might still be in
the car. I'm driving 5hours home from vacation I haven't
shut the car off yet. I don't remember the car signaling that
the key wasn't in the car. My question is, is there a way I
can test if the key fob is still in the car? Will the car shut off
after a certain distance without the key fob?
