I have a 2017 Chevy Equinox. While driving in a straight line the steering wheel will suddenly feel like it lets loose and moves

Asked by larry Jan 19, 2020 at 05:28 PM about the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox LS FWD

Question type: General

dealer says it's called "notchy steering" and can be fixed with a $215.00
programming fix. I have gotten used to it so is it essential to fix?

Yeah, GM is sticking it's head in the sand to avoid acknowledging a clear defect in their steering for a number of their models. BTW are you still under warranty?
