Battery could be totally beat , Does it crank /turn over ? Do the headlights come on at all ? Jump starting newer vehicles with all the computers is not a good idea . Like driving drunk you can get away with it plenty of times but when things go wrong you're sorry you did it .

Maybe it didn't need a jump. Maybe the problem is a dead fuel pump or a bad sensor or something else not related to the battery. Get codes checked
