2017 Hyundai Santa Fe oil ight notification

Asked by Guru9D8HSK Nov 12, 2020 at 12:58 PM about the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe NOT a sport. For the first time, My oil light
came on. My car is due for an oil change, but I have never seen the oil light
flash on then went off. Also, the seatbelt light comes on and stays on for the
passenger when there is no one in the passenger seat. could this be a sensor
issue? Please advise.

Check the oil level! Those lights are not for entertainment, they mean what they say.

Amen! Do not chance running on low oil - it could cause major issues down the road. As for the seat, yes, it s probably the sensor.
