Where is the starter located?

Check out a Haynes manual, look on top of the transmission on the driver's side, it may be here.

Starter is located on the back side of the engine. Just below the intake manifold.

back side of the motor, a pain in the ass to get to, there is also a bracket holding it on

How do I get to the screws holding it in? from below or from the engine bay?
