Make it a 383 stroker motor or put those particular parts on a 400sbc. Put a nice cam & heads or chip whatever it needs. Im an old school sd ch guy where everything chevy interchanges except 305 heads on a 350 or 40p sb. Unless u notch the bloch for the valves

Surprisingly the 1960-1999 models can hold a 502 as i have stuffed into an 88 single cab before selling it with little to no problems aside from changing motor supports and having the engine computer to control the engine

And with a little fabrication the new 600 cu in bb will fit also but your pocket will feel the pinch
