Question type: General

Okay I have a 93 chevy silverado z71 the upper
radiator hose busted about 4 days ago I replaced
the hose and refilled the radiator with engine
coolant it took about 6 gallons the trucks
Reservoir was fine at this time two days ago the
truck ran hot and I pulled over immediately the
reservoir was completely dry and empty so I
refilled it and it was fine again and then tonight the
reservoir was empty again and I refilled it and it's
fine again. Could I be missing something in the
process of replacing the hose and coolent or could
there be something wrong. Maybe I just hadn't
refilled everything properly I dont know so any help
will be appreciated

I refilled the radiator itself first and topped it off. The reservoir still had plenty in it. And then about 2 day later is when the reservoir drained out it done it twice and I keep an eye on it and it gets low and refill it. But I checked for any other leaks and have yet to find one
