I have a 1994 Chevy 1500

Asked by GuruHZJ5H Jul 04, 2019 at 03:41 AM about the 1994 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab RWD

Question type: General

I'm looking dir a engine and this guy has a 350 5.7
v8 out of a 1972 Camaro. I want to know will it bolt
up and is that a good engine to put in my truck?
That motor has a carburetor and my plan was to
buy a fuel injection conversion kit on it. What do
you think?

Car and truck motors are designed different , cars are for ripping around and trucks are for hauling . If that motor is used it is beat up , especially from a sports car . It's best to go with what things were originally designed for . The 305 works well . The frames not rotting out is it ?
