Won't move when warmed up

My Chevy k1500 will run fine when the truck is cold
but stops moving when warm it's a 96 and the fluid
is black if I change the fluid and filter will it fix the
problem

It is not likely a fluid and filter change will help. You will know more by removing the transmission pan and see how much debris is in the fluid. Black fluid would indicate the clutches have been slipping for a while. You will likely need the transmission rebuilt.
