Flashing service engine

Asked by Steve Aug 03, 2020 at 07:34 PM about the 1997 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just had a brake vacuum booster
replaced. Went about a 1/4 mile and
service engine light started flashing
and idle is rough

1 Answer

Check for vacuum leaks. Hopefully the problem is a loose hose and not the new booster.
