Asked by GuruCJ5L Apr 14, 2017 at 03:11 AM about the 1997 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Cheyenne Extended Cab Stepside 4WD

Truck runs good until you let up on the throttle at cruising
speed about 1/5 throttle feels like your turning key off but
more or less throttle it's fine but just at hyw speed and yes I
replaced tps and cleaned maf sensor

Yes ATM check engine light is on and it happens at the same position of the throttle pedal every time that's why I changed the tps

Has anyone had a cam sensor go bad someone said that could be the problem but I have never seen one do that before?

Take the vehicle to an auto parts store and have it scanned for trouble codes, write them down and post them back here.
