Reverse only

Hit a bump and wouldn't go into pull in reverse then forward engaged and drove out of revine then had no reverse then only reverse , I got a used valve body and it went around the block but no reverse then back to only reverse but steady turns driver's side axle.

In reverse only on one side , I can manually turn passenger wheel and it turns driver wheel. Backward it's a non locking differential

Could the valve body or TCM cause this maybe damaged from the bump I also suspect a control valve wherever that is and was told the shifter has electrical device ? But it moves into park it was pulling forward in park though
