Problems accelerating past 30

Idels great get up to 30 quickly but just won't
accelerate any past with it to the floor what could
be the issue

Could be a plugged catalytic converter. Drive it to get it warmed up, park in a dark area, look at the cat. if it is glowing orange, it is plugged. Otherwise check for vacuum leaks, snug up the intake manifold, and check the TBI base gasket.
