1988 Chevy 2500 dies going up any sort of hill any fixes?

Asked by TylerL88 Jul 25, 2016 at 02:02 PM about the 1988 Chevrolet C/K 2500 Scottsdale LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1988 Chevy 2500, it's a 350 5.7 V8 and it
died going up a small hill today. Completely died
going about 25 MPH. I thought I just didn't give it
enough gas but then I had to go over another small
hill and it did the same thing 3 more times but I
saved it this time. It sounded like it was
dying/misfiring. It would go quiet and I'd lose power
then it would come back. Is there anything that
could be the problem or is it just a simple fix?
Thank you anyone for their time
