Is a Tow hitch receptacle on vehicle?

Is there a classification to reference for a
tow hitch receptacle  (I use a lift for scooter)

It depends on the lift you are using or purchasing. Both a Class II and Class III will probably work due to the weight. The biggest difference is Class II hitch uses a 1.25 x 1.25 opening vs a 2 x 2 opening for a class III. So match up your lift with the hitch.

Check the specs for the maximum tongue weight. I would bet it is less than the scooter weight.
