The coil has fire but the spark plugs dont have any fire i can hold the spark plug in my hand. Took the valve cover off the head has hardly any oil in it even i turn the motor over oil does not shoot out.
Sounds like you need to replace the distributor cap and rotor.
I did the blue distributor. Know the coil or spark plugs dont have any fire. What else could it be.
Blue was supposed to be hole brand new distributor.
Forgot to mention on the oil, that is normal what you see under the valve cover as far as oil flow. So it sounds like the coil is charging up but not releasing its charge. I know you change the crankshaft sensor, but if it is not getting power, or if it is too far away from the reluctor, would cause the coil not to discharge, or the ignition control module which took the place of the old points. These things are new, so when checking for spark with a spark plug it needs to be grounded. Lay it on some metal when checking for spark. Also when replacing the distributor, did you mark the position of the rotor when you took the old one out? Just wondering if it was installed correctly.
Ignition control module, small pack under the distributor cap, price range is 25-50$ very easy and quick fix, I believe it takes a 5.5mm socket. Two bits, one plugs and I bet it fires...
