Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is there anything different replacing these brake parts on a M45 INFINITY then a American made car.  My son"s friend put new REAR rotors and pads on his M45 and for some reason the rotor got red hot and discolored on the driver"s rear and the other side has started putting a groove in his new rotor??????   What went wrong?????

Sounds like the calipers are draging. As a matter of fact I know they are. The calipers have to slide in and out. Or back and forth. Have him take pads off and wire brush the area where they glide. If that doesn't help the calipers will need replacing.
