My Infiniti G35x has 80,000 miles. Other than my faithful oil/filter/air filter changes - what major service do I need?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The brake pads do wear out often, have never had that issue in another car.  Do I need to flush my radiator or switch my timing chain?

Flushing your radiator out is a 5 hour job - don't listen to anyone who suggests otherwise...this car takes A LONG time to pull the fluid and circulate it into the engine - so if you decide you need to flush the fluid...bring it to someone who knows what they are doing with Nissan/Infinitis

Thank you for the tip about the 5 hour radiator flush! Yikes. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer this.

It's specific to this car - with most vehicles this can be done in less than 30 minutes...but this car for some reason takes FOREVER to move the coolant. Basically you pour some in until it overflows.....run it awhile....let it cool down....pour some in...let it run a while...repeat repeat repeat until it won't take anymore. I had this very problem once - it had run out of coolant and it kept overheating...and because this mechanic didn't know how to fill my G35 he told me my engine was bad...you get the picture
