Radiator coolant leak

My car infinity G35/2005 leaks at the radiator cap when I stop it. I installed a new cap.  The car was leaking before showing spots on the drive way. What can cause the leak at the radiator cap?  Does it indicate thermostat is stuck?

Radiator caps have a pressure rating, pressure exceeds this rating and they relieve the pressure....so, you have a pressure build up in the system. It could be as simple as being overfull and no room for coolant to expand while hot or it could be something as bad as a bad head gasket allowing combustion chamber pressure into the cooling system.
