No crank no and no start

My truck will not
crank an no dash
lights battery wires
are good battery is
good go to start no
crank go out pull a
battery lead off an put
it right back on an it
starts does not make
a difference if it
pos.or neg.

No crank and no electrical power to the dash would seem to indicate a bad electrical connection somewhere, especially if both are restored after fiddlin' with the battery terminal connection.
