my tag on my 67 firebird reads 3w, would you tell me what size motor that means, I know 3f means 400ci

I thought the transition to the 400 from the 389 and the 326 to the 350 occurred in the 1968 model year. Are you certain you have a 400 in the 67 as the original engine?

There were only a few engine options in the 1967 Firebird. The 400, 326 and the OHC 6. There were performance options for each engine.
