New 2016 Dodge Durango went limp

Asked by Stevesywonder Aug 26, 2016 at 06:54 AM about the 2016 Dodge Durango SXT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I left the dealership with a brand new
Durango. With my 2 kids in the backseat,
and at 28 total miles ever, the stability
traction light and engine light went on. I
was on the highway in heavy traffic; I was
lucky because now the vehicle wouldn't
exceed about 35 mph. I got off the exit and
crawled to a Jeep/Dodge dealership,
where they have it overnight now. Q: Is this
a major defect? Do I need to give it back?
Thanks!

I would imagine this has not been a happy experience for you. Be patient with the dealer, I am sure they will get it resolved.
