I have a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T w/ 34,000 mi. The turbo isn't working & they said it's due to not changing the oil soon enough. The service guy said the turbo is "sludgy". I've always run Amsoil synthetic oil which is rated for 15k mi in engines w/ turbo. It's been 9k mi since last oil change, so I should be good for another 6k mi. I'm wondering if anyone else has had trouble w/ the turbo? They are saying it's not under warranty because the oil wasn't changed every 3k mi. & is $2000 to fix! 5 Answers
