2000 Mustang V6 won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had my car for about a year now. It recently
started losing acceleration occasionally if i drove
for more than 20 minutes or up a steep hill. I
changed the fuel pump when i first got it and it is
still working.
So a changed the filter, oil and oil filter. It ran fine
for a few days then started doing it even worse. It
wouldn't ever die, just no acceleration at all,
regardless of how much i was pushing the pedal or
if i downshifted. So i changed the spark plugs,
wires, and coil pack. Now it won't start at all. It
turns over, but then i hear a loud knock and it stops
turning over for a sec.

Update: I also had cleaned the MAF sensor as well as the air filter prior to the tune up(spark plugs and the like)

reverse every thing you changed to see if u can get back to starting (unfortunately it may happen that we change something that's not broke and replace it with something that is) Remove the air filter and spray starting fluid into the intake ... if you hear a Pop then your directed to it being a fuel problem ... check the fuel regulator at the fuel rail ,,, remove it .. place something on it to catch the fuel ...have someone turn the key to the start position but don't start.. if you get a good flow have them immediately turn the key off ... once you get this far you can probably figure out that you may have anything from a clogged fuel line to clogged fuel rails

I've done all of that but still nothing. Would it not crank if two of the spark plug wires were not plugged in in the proper order, cause i know it's not just 1-2-3-4-5-6 for my car but I don't know the proper order off the top of my head and I've found like 3 or 4 different setups online so not sure
