Smart key problem

Good day everyone. I have an infinity G37. I got the
car in March of this year. As of lately the smart key
has been acting up opening the doors. So I
assumed the battery was dying. I was away from
the vehicle for a week. When I returned to the car I
had to play with the remote (tap on it) and get real
close to the car for it to work. Today it wasn’t
working at . So I replaced the battery and it’s still
not working. Any suggestions?

My wife's '13 rarely gets funky, too. I found that Inf dlr will program up to 6 remotes for one flat fee, so I'd chase a couple of used Inf remotes on eBay and get a dealer to program them ($79 total) and swap them in and out of service as batteries weaken. Sometimes I have to put a fob directly on the door handle for it to work....
