Cadillac SRX 2013. What is the root of the problem

When you disconnect the battery , your are resetting the computer / safety lock outs. Your computer needs to be reprogrammed ( if you are lucky ) or replaced.

I have this same problem with my 2013 srx. Changed battery but still have the problem. Everything dead until I disconnect ground cable then reconnect then it starts. Very frustrating.
