Exhaust on my 2000 hyundai elantra is not from a 2000 hyundai elantra

My husband's 2000 hyundai elantra is horribly
loud.   He recently went to replace the flex pipe as
it's cracked,  and found that the exhaust system is
not from this year or any year elantra.   The local
auto zone has no idea what year or car it's from
either.   We are very short on money right now as
he is on disability right now.  Can anyone give me
some idea of  how we can figure out what part to
get to get this fixed so it's repaired and can be
inspected?

it could be the ca model most 2000 where ca models. as them to check that. if not call the dealer give your vin as what model or exhuast part numbers for your car that what happen to me. it was ca model exhuast even tho i a, not in ca
