gas pump

Every time i try put gas into my car the pump stops around 3/4 of a gallon then i have to
wait like 15 seconds until i can pumps & the time goes up with the more gas being put
into it. How do i stop this.

I had similar problem - it's the overflow sensor. Replaced it ourselves - bought new one online for couple hundred. Have since learned to not "top off" when getting gas.
