We just bought a used 2001 Hyundai Tiburon SE and it has a DOHC 16-V Engine in it I was wondering if this is standard for this year or if the person who owned it before me did an engine swap?

Question type: General

The car is a AUTOMATIC, which sucks but oh well. It is a great car anyway it runs very well but the engine is very loud...? a powerful loud not a bad loud. I actually thought it was the muffler when I started the car for the first time lol. Anyway It drives amazing, looks and sounds great.
