Car engine cut out completely while slowing down

Asked by Gaurav Jun 29, 2018 at 04:04 AM about the 2001 Hyundai Accent L 2-Door Hatchback FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am having an issue with 2001 Hyundai Accent. The car engine would cut out
completely as I slowed down at roundabout or making a turn or waiting at traffic
signal but I could restart the car immediately after cut out. This happens most of
the time but not always. Can anyone address what could be the issue here
please.

I’m having the same problem with the same car. I’ve had spark plugs, brakes, transmissiin solenoids and fuel filter and lines cleaned and replaced. Still cutting out regularly when coming to a stop or when parked. Anyone got a fix?

I’m having the exact same issue, it feels like the injectors are clogged but fuel cleaner made no difference. Stalling and running rough at lights, corners, low revs. Would really appreciate any ideas.

Seems like a common problem. My excell is doing the same thing. Does not seem to be a fix for it?
