CAR TURNING OVER BUT WILL NOT START

I need to know where the pressure test port is on the fuel line so I can tell if I'm receiving fuel to the fuel rail. Could be the coil pack but I need to check to see if it is firing. What is the best way to do that? I can wedge a paperclip in there and see if I'm getting fire when I touch the spark plug wire to it. Also what is the best way to check the alternator output voltage when the car is not running.
