oil light alternates from blinking to staying on steady

Asked by kroozer Aug 24, 2015 at 10:30 PM about the 2003 Hyundai Accent GL 2-Door Hatchback FWD

I keep checking the oil and it is full--I do think I may have put too much in before all this
happened and I checked my oil and found it down 1/2 qt--could it be from too much oil?

that do sound like oil pressure issue, do what tennisshoe said above, oil pressure lost will damage the vehicle.

Thanks, is getting my oil pressure checked something autozone can do, otherwise what would most cost efficient way be, to check that- is there a cheap gauge I can buy to do it myself?
