Car won't start sounds like starter isn't engaging but the pulleys turn on the motor

bumped gear shifter into neutral and

is this an automatic or a standard? how old is the car? what model is the car ? what sized engine? you need to be a little more specific my friend so we can figure out the problemo hehe

There's more to it then that. Putting the transmission in neutral when driving dosent do that.
