Sparks when starting car

So when I start my car, it looks like theres large
sparks/ a fire, but disappears once the ignition
stops. [Engine runs normally otherwise)

If you can see a spark, it is likely your plug wires are leaking electrical current and you are getting "cross talk" between cylinders. A simple test is to observe the spark at night or a dark garage and determine where it is coming from. Once you confirm it is the plug wires, replace them with new.
