losing power

i got my g6 12/2017. it was used. it's a 2009. i have so many issues with it now
and i've had it less than a year. the biggest worry is that it loses engine power
when i'm driving sometimes. my son (a mechanic) hooked up the coder and it
kept reading to replace the mass airflow sensor. well, i did that and it's still
doing it.  any suggestions????
