I have a 1995 Honda Accord and it's been setting for a year or 2. I replaced the battery and I've never had a problem in the past to start it. But now it won't start it really tries very hard to start, but it won't turn. can ANYONE please help me???? could it be the distributor cap ????? My 1987 Honda Accord DX surges when you get to about 2000-2500 rpm. I've replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, and both fuel filters. I have a 2001 honda accord and today my car wouldnt start up , i tried for about 5 mins then i stepped on the gas a little while i was trying to crank it and it finally turned over! My check engine light is on , i just had a few repairs on my car like changing front o2 sensor and brakes and oil change. My car has been hesitating alot in last few months. when i stop at a stop sign for example and then i press on the gas it takes awhile to feel like its normal full power til i step on it kinda hard then it shoots forward to normal. I had 2 codes coming up on my car , the mechanic cleared one when he changed out o2 sensor it was blistered (code had something to do with heating element) but he couldnt clear other code he was hoping in few days it would clear on its own after my oil change p1259 . any suggestions on what i may need this is my only transportation? 2 Answers
