i need a speedometer head among other parts. im looking for a parts car to buy. just dont know if i have to limit myself to a 1991

sorry to correct everyone, but any '88 to '91 parts should be compatible. Honda changed the styling in '92 which means the dash was changed completly. The speedometer doesn't need to be from a SI, I had a DX and swapped the entire gauge pod for a SI pod without any mods.

^^ exactly. 92 started OBD1. your car is a OBD0. 88-91 crx or civic will work

yea most parts from an 88 to 91 civic or crx will work with yours. then its 92 to 95 and 96 to i think 2000 and then there on up
