04 Honda civic DX manual trans trouble

So i have a 04 Honda Civic DX that wont go into
any gear but 3rd and 4th. Ive tried to force it but no
matter how hard i push or pull it just wont even try
to go into gear... im stuck between weather its the
clutch, or the trans, or linkage or what? Anybody
ever had this prob or kno what i gotta do to fix it?

When the car is running and you press the clutch does it go in gear ok? Do you see the slave cylinder working? My suggestion is to lean towards the trans.. because anytime I do repairs on trans with that issue it 85-90% trans. Either the selector or syncro's on trans. But just to be sure pull shifter of trans and look down it to make sure nothing's broken and jamming your selector (cage) Cage/linkage can be fixed syncs are hard and would have to be overhauled.
