The radio only works when the parking or headlights are on. What is the cause?

If the lights are off, the radio does not work. If the parking lights or the headlights are on, the radio works fine. This problem just started on its own. I checked all the fuses and nothing is amiss. I cannot determine the cause of the problem.

I have a 1980 Honda Accord start and runs great with or with out AC, wipers and Stereo on. But when the headlights are turned on the engine starts to die, if headlights are turned off before engine dies the engine takes off and runs great.
