2000 Ford Expedition xlt 5.4l

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2000 Ford Expedition 5.4l and i just had
the transmission replaced so i no thats isnt
the issue and it did the same thing with the
previous transmission also.  But it has a total
lack of power when you at a stop and pull out
slow it shifts good but when you push the
petal to the floor it like hesitates and doesn’t
shift like it should the engine revs real hi and
like it hesitates to shift and also when you are
going on the hiway doing lets say 65mph and
you go to pass a vehicle giving it gas to build
up speed to pass it downshifts and the rpms
are up and it hesitates to build up speed to
and it seems to be alittle worse when it is hot
out.  What is some possibilities of this issue
and any sensors that would cause this.  Could
a cat possibly be clogged cause this issue. I
at a loss.

I cleaned the throttle body also and that didn’t help. When i start it It idles fine no vibration like it is misfiring when u rev the engine it has like a slight bog and out the exhaust i just sounds different like a low and sort of muffled sound. I dunno if I should change the fuel filter and replace the plugs and coil packs
