I have a 2000 ford expedition, put on a new water pump & thermostat, still not getting hot enough. What can we do

When you replaced the thermostat did you burp the system to make sure you got all the air out of it and you can go with a higher temp thermostat If you live in colder climates.have or the other trick if the heater isn't working well is to block off a portion of radiator with a piece of cardboard to help raise temp when it's cold out I live in AZ so the summer is brutal so I can it a cool as possible the trade of is the heater is a little weak during the winter hence the piece of card board
