heater switch stopped working

I checked fuse,relay and tore the switch out and cleaned the contacks still not working. Let me add (sometimes) it will work.

had that happen on my 04, try pushing on the switch as if you were trying to push it to the front of the car while the fan is on 4th speed, if pushing on it for a second kicks on the fan its time for a new switch.. which i bought from a junk yard for $40

bad resistor,it operates the fan speed if it has gone bad heater wont blow.fan motor could be bad,could be the switch to.
