pressure sensor on 95 accord is blocked by the pipe that connects thermostat and water pump

Asked by ptcollins Jun 03, 2014 at 04:14 PM about the 1995 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 95 accord has a slight leak in the oil sensor located directly above the oil filter. Unfortunately, the connector pipe that runs behind the engine prevents access to the sensor, is this normal? 2.2 engine

is it normal to have to dismantle the engine compartment to get at a part-- yes it is. EVER had to tear a car literally to pieces to change a fuel pump. Is it normal then yes ....but only an engineer with an I.Q. over 60 could make it unnecessary,
