My car won't start

I just bought a 1996 Honda Civic two days ago. I started it, drove it home and to Wal-Mart that evening (roughly 50 miles). When I got up yesterday, I went out to start it, I turned it on - the battery turns on, all the guages and lights and the radio turn on, but when I turn the key, the radio turns off and there isn't even a click out of the starter. My buddy and I checked all the fuses (under the hood and dashboard) and we tried the hitting the starter with a hammer, but no fuses were blown and still didn't start. Do you think it could be the starter or what else could be wrong with it?

Look for punch-out label on battery, MAYBE you can tell it's age. If it's 4 or 5 years old you need a new one. Look at terminals and for corrosion, that will prevent a good contact. Make sure they are clean and tight. Also the other end of battery ground wire wherever it grounds must me tight. Or you could have a parasitic drain, the seller probably didn't exactly give you full disclosure. That's just a starting point, no pun intended

Mine have the same issue, it was ´cuz the battery terminal were dirty, the electric wash them with some liquid and voila but that only was good for about 2 weeks eventually i buy a new one and problem solved!!
