How many 1996 Honda accord EX V6's were produced for the U.S. market?

Asked by silkybill Jul 28, 2013 at 10:00 AM about the 1996 Honda Accord EX V6

Question type: General

I have a '96 honda accord EX V6.  It is customized, and I am told that it is rather "rare".  I am looking for numbers to confirm this.  Presently plan to rebuild the motor. I am looking for a valve oversize or cam.  Doesn't seem to be anything available.  The Gurus suggest overbore of cylinders.  This interests me, so I am also seeking info. along these lines as to feasibility and/or what other changes would such a procedure require? I am not going "all out".  Thanks for info.

After a lot of looking, best suggestion is try plugging your VIN it to: http://www.hondavindecoder.com/ .....I don't know if it will tell you what you are seeking but will tell you a lot
