Anyone ever replace instrument cluster lights?

Asked by Gatorriz May 12, 2011 at 10:47 AM about the 2000 Ford Excursion Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The lights for the instrument cluster seem to have some bulbs burned out.  First the right side got dim, then a while later the left side.  Seems there's a cover piece that extends all the way over in front of the passenger seat that needs to come off first, but I'm afraid of breaking that.  Any suggestions?
