Wrong Thermostat?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm working on a EJ253 2008 Subaru Impreza and I received a Thermostat at
78° C and the original is a 82° C. That is a 7° F difference. The new one fits and
is Subaru made, will this cause any issues? If so what harm might it do?

Thanks, got a replacement and installed it yesterday. Almost finished with the rebuild!
