Piece found on passenger side floor

The picture is what I found laying on my passenger side floor. I've looked under my dash to see where it could have came from and nothing matches. Any idea what this is?

I've seen similar carpet panels, usually around the center console or firewall, like a kick panel, just a removable cover to get to some feature normally tucked out of sight. It may have come from the back seat area as well, and just slid up to the front. It's not a filter, or anything vital.
